Scottish heritage

Anyone finding out more about their Matheson heritage will, sooner or later, discover their Scottish roots.  Scotland is a nation with its own culture, languages and history, and learning more about Scottish heritage is a fascinating part of discovering your Matheson heritage.

Gaelic

A Celtic language that was once spoken across most of Scotland, and came to New Zealand with early Scottish settlers.  There are three articles about what Gaelic is, where it has spread in the world and how to learn it.
